A Sunday Evening...

It's a typical Sunday evening, and as I sit here typing, Daddy and Little Girl are downstairs running trains. The sounds that floats up from the basement include girly laughs, train whistles and the sound of daddy's voice explaining all the different parts of the train.. .oh, and the log loader, can't forget the log loader. Sounds of counting and colors also abound. Such sweet sounds to this mamma's ears!

I'm also thinking about this new life growing everyday inside of me. I'm now 6 1/2 months and it feels like time is just flying by. It could be because I'm keeping up with a 2 yr old. Or it could be that I'm still knee deep in weddings while throwing in a dash of homecoming weekends (the university included - which kept me hopping last weekend) and Daddy is entering a really busy season at his job. November is looking very welcoming at this point - at least for now it looks like it might be a slower pace for us.

Little baby on the inside seems to be doing well - growing, growing, as my expanding size can attest to. But really, I love every kick, every punch, every flip... it reminds me in the middle of all the craziness that is my life right now that there is indeed a new life, a new addition coming to our family a new blessing that God has for us.
